It is a dark time when you suspect your partner of cheating. Your emotions are in conflict and you feel like you are in a limbo. If you confront him and he is guilty, how will you react? If you accuse him and he is innocent, how will he take things? However, if you keep quiet, this burden of suspicion will make your relationship unhappy – at least on your side.

Confirm your suspicions first

Before you make unfounded accusations, confirm that your partner is cheating. Talk to a trusted friend about the signs you have been getting. Is he or she taking a lot of mysterious phone calls? Are they online until late in the evening, maybe engaging in adult chat with others? Sometimes you need someone who is detached from the situation to tell you if you are just being paranoid – or not. Better yet, try to find some strong evidence. There is no need to hire a private investigator; that will just show you at your suspicious worst.

Confront your partner

If your partner is proved to be cheating, talk to him calmly. If he wants to stay with you, the state of your relationship depends on you. If you cannot endure a relationship with a cheater, you can let go. If you want to give him another chance, then give him an ultimatum.
